Sales Manager - Process Engineering

Vacuum distillation plants from UIC are in operation at customer sites all over the world. They are appreciated for their technological excellence and their reliability. Their versatility qualifies them for a remarkably broad range of thermal separation tasks.

UIC's success in sales essentially rests upon the profound technical expertise of our sales engineers and their experience in assessing the suitability of this powerful technology for different application scenarios. The agenda of our test lab and our activities in R&D are integral parts of our sales organization.

In order to further strengthen the efficiency of our sales organization we are seeking qualified and ambitious professionals with a track record in technical sales and a willingness for traveling.

Your duties and responsibilities

As a member of our highly competent and motivated sales team you will play an important role in developping and enhancing our worldwide markets. In cooperation with our international representatives you identify new sales opportunities. With the support of our local back office you do the basic engineering for customer-specific vacuum distillation plants, you develop the specifications and the quotations. You will address both technical and commercial aspects of each offer. Your performance and hence your compensation package directly correlates with your incoming orders.

Required skills and qualifications

• Graduate of a technical university or equivalent
• Knowledge in chemical process engineering and / or vacuum technology
• Experience in sales of technical products
• Product presentation skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate others
• Negotiation skills
• Team player and competent communicator
• Fluent in English and German; knowledge of additional languages welcome
• Willingness to travel
